We want every author who works with The Publishing Lounge to feel heard and treated fairly. If you disagree with something about your order, billing or deliverables, this policy explains how to raise it and how we will work with you to resolve it.

1. Contact Us First

Most concerns can be settled quickly by talking to us. Before you open a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact our support team by phone at (302) 467-1225, through live chat on our website, or by email at sales@thepublishinglounge.com. Our support team is available 24 hours a day.

3. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us and we will investigate right away. Duplicate charges caused by a processing error are refunded in full.

If a chargeback is filed while we are working with you on a resolution, work on your project may be paused until the chargeback is settled. We may share our order records, approvals, communications and delivery records with the card issuer or payment processor. Chargebacks filed for work that was delivered in line with our terms will be contested.

4. Records We Keep

We keep records of your order, approvals, communications and final files. These records help us resolve any dispute fairly, and we can resend your final files on request.

5. Official Communication Channels

The Publishing Lounge is only responsible for communication sent from email addresses ending in @thepublishinglounge.com or from the phone numbers listed on our website. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by correspondence from any other email address or phone number.

6. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your project, please send a written request by email. Cancellation takes effect when we receive your written notice. Telephone requests must be confirmed in writing. You will be invoiced for work completed up to the date of your notice, payable in full within thirty (30) days.

7. Unpaid Balances

Accounts that remain unpaid thirty (30) days after the invoice date are considered in default. Clients in default agree to pay reasonable costs of collection, including legal fees and third party collection agency costs, incurred in enforcing our terms.

8. Governing Law

This policy and any dispute arising from our services are governed by the laws of the United States.
